Last updated: April 1, 2026
Our Commitment
Orphmedia is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people of all abilities. We continually improve the user experience for everyone and apply relevant accessibility standards to our website at orphmedia.com.
Standards
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including:
- Visual impairments (blindness, low vision, color blindness)
- Hearing impairments
- Motor impairments
- Cognitive and learning disabilities
Measures We Take
Orphmedia takes the following measures to ensure accessibility:
- Semantic HTML: We use proper heading hierarchy, landmark regions, and semantic elements throughout the Site.
- Keyboard navigation: All interactive elements are accessible via keyboard. Focus states are visible on all actionable elements.
- Alt text: Images include descriptive alternative text. Decorative images are marked as such.
- Color contrast: Text and interactive elements meet WCAG AA contrast ratio requirements.
- Responsive design: The Site functions across screen sizes and supports zoom up to 200% without loss of content.
- Text-to-speech: Blog articles include a "Read Aloud" feature with audio playback for an alternative way to consume content.
- Reduced motion: Animations respect the
prefers-reduced-motionmedia query for users who are sensitive to motion. - Form labels: All form inputs have associated labels and clear error messaging.
- Link purpose: Links clearly indicate their destination or purpose.
AI Chatbot Accessibility
Our AI chatbot is designed with accessibility in mind:
- The chatbot can be opened and operated entirely via keyboard
- Chat messages are announced to screen readers
- The chatbot supports a voice toggle for text-to-speech output
- Focus is managed when the chat window opens and closes
Known Limitations
Despite our efforts, some areas of the Site may not yet be fully accessible. Known limitations include:
- Some older portfolio videos may lack captions or audio descriptions
- Third-party embedded content (maps, social feeds) may have accessibility limitations outside our control
- PDF documents linked from the Site may not be fully accessible
We are actively working to address these limitations and improve accessibility across all content.

We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of our Site. If you encounter any barriers or have suggestions for improvement, please contact us:

Enforcement
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the relevant enforcement body in your jurisdiction. In the United States, the Department of Justice enforces the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), which applies to web accessibility.
